Why buy CDs when everything is online?

Faster - with the CDs, you won't have to wait on a slow internet connection to download any of the pages or files.
No internet connection needed - set up an isolated computer in the garage and access the information where you need it.
Always available - should my website ever become unavailable - for whatever reason - you'll still have access to its contents.

System requirements

A computer with a CDROM drive
A hard drive with sufficient room to store the contents of both CDs
A web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera, or Mozilla FireFox
Many of the papers, manuals, etc are in PDF format. In order to view these materials, you will need an operating system capable of running Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or higher. You will also need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. If you don't have it, you can download it for free directly from Adobe.
Essentially, if you can view and use my website online, you'll be able to do the same thing on the CDROM. Exceptions: (1) The interactive map on the Loop Map page only works on the live website. (2) The search functionality only works on the live website.

Map of purchases

This interactive world map shows the locations of people who have purchased the CD version of my web site around the globe.

This map was built using the Google Maps API and relies heavily on JavaScript. It seems to work well on the latest browsers, but perhaps not so well on older browsers. I've found it to respond most quickly on the FireFox, Netscape, and Opera browsers. Internet Explorer is a little slower.
