Why I conducted business with them

To purchase a replacement oil cooler for my 2000 Saab 9-5 SE.

My experience

I first contacted Lund Saab when I needed to replace the plastic stop for my Automatic Climate Control (ACC) blend door. They had the part in stock and for about the same price as online stores. Later, when I couldn't locate anyone (dealers nor independents) who would confirm or disconfirm the notion that Saab had switched oil cooler part numbers and that it was okay to use the much cheaper steel oil cooler (as on Cadillac Cateras), Lund came to the rescue. Lund contacted Saab USA and determined that there had been no part nor part number change and that the aluminum oil cooler that came stock on my Saab 9-5 SE remained the correct part. They also confirmed that I would receive the aluminum part when I placed my special order (something no one else was willing to commit). I ordered the proper replacement oil cooler through them and they even gave me a discount to near online pricing when it arrived. To say I was surprised that a dealer would do this is an understatement. I was very pleased with how the parts department help me out.
