Well, my Marelli generator was toast after all. Mechanic had it rebuilt
at a local Gen shop. He told me that the gen shop recommended that I
also replace the regulator, based on what they had seen in the
generator. From what I can recall from this board, isn't the Marelli
regulator pretty solid? Thought I had also read that you can just take
these suckers apart, clean them out real good, and they should be good
to go. Is this correct? Or should I find a rebuilt regulator?
