My alternator conversion has worked so well, I'm thinking of making up
a couple more for another bike of mine and a friend's. I can run a 55w
headlight, two 55w spots, two 13w front running lights, four 13w rear
running lights, a taillight, grip heaters on high, an electric vest on
high, and the voltmeter still registers the 14.5 v that the regulator
is set to.

This got me thinking that I might as well make 10 or as many as I can
sell. I could just make brackets or sell complete bolt-on brackets with
alternator. Haven't looked into pricing, but is anyone out there
potentially interested in a system that bolts on without any permanent
modification to the bike (the only extra wiring is a wire to the
battery; the stock regulator wiring just gets disconnected and can stay
in place), looks like it belongs, and puts out 40-45 amps?

On-list or off-list is fine.
