Originally, Moto Guzzi fit a mechanical Magneti Marelli voltage regulator.

Thanks to Dave Pinchard for making me aware of this electronic voltage regulator applicable to Magneti Marelli charging systems. Dave reports that the A.P.E. unit has been working well on his 1971 Moto Guzzi V7 Special.

Graham Pasmore cofirms the following connections work:

  • Terminal 30 (B+) - Red wire
  • Terminal 67 - White wire
  • Terminal 51 - Red/white or Gray/red wire
  • Mounting bracket - Black wire to ground
