Hello All,
Nice to see a loopframe list. I'm looking forward to speaking with all of
you (ya'll if your from Texas).
I've been riding Gooses (Geese?) since '83. I was shortly outa' high
school, when I bought a brand spanking new G5 LAPD (working in the oil
field was fairly lucrative). I still have it too; 180,000 miles later,
though it's in parts right now while I rebuild it...oh, did it ever need
some rebuilding. How many scooters do you know that will go that distance?
And it only once left me stranded...and it was my own fault.
But this is a loopframe list, isn't it? I also have a 74 eldo (civilian),
that is just a wonderful ride. Every bit as fun as the G5. It's pretty
much stock, with a set of DB bags, and a wixom fairing. David, I'll send
you a picture for your web site. Eventually, I'd like to do some mods to
it: change over to a dual disk front, chuck the old amal carbs, and put on
some floorboards, but for now I'm pretty durn happy.
