Hi All,
Well...I have finally gotten off my butt and started putting the Loopframe
serial numbers into a datebase. You may (or may not) remember back a few
months ago (or was it a few years) that I thought it might be neat to have a
database of all the Loopframe Guzzi's out there. This interest began as I
was looking into the history of my bike (a 1969 Ambassador). I became
curious as to the number of Loopframes that were actually out there.
So to date I have recorded 3 V700's, 19 Ambassadors, and 7 Eldos (and most
of those Eldo's are owned by Garry in Oregon!). Now I know that there are
more bikes out there than the few I have mentioned....so if you want to be
part of the census please send your Bike model, Year manufactured (on the
VIN plate), Serial number, Your name and Location to me Ian Adkins @
adk-@gte.net
Eventually I could post this list to the Loopframe website so that people
could see who all was out there.
Of course....there is no commercial intent here. I just thought that it
would be neat to know how many of us are out there.
