Hi All,

Saturday is the day I will attempt to start my 1970 Ambo project after a
complete restoration. She has new pistons, rings and cylinders.

Valve clearances have been set. I have put in new points....set the gap and
static timing. I have the carbs set to factory settings. Yes I have oil in
the sump :-) I have gone pretty much over everything and I am ready to fire
the old girl up. It's been over 4 years since she was last run.

So what are some recommendations as to the engine runs? I have heard that
you should only run the bike for 10 seconds and then shut her off.

I would appreciate advice from those who have gone through this before.

Thanks in advance....Ian Adkins
