Hey All,
Thanks for the advice and the words of encouragement. I feel like you will
all be there with me when I turn her over :-)
I noticed that many of you suggested running the engine with the plugs out.
Fortunately I have been dealing with a starter solenoid problem (which has
since been sorted out). While testing the starter I have had a chance to
turn the engine over quite a bit and everything sounds good.
Good idea on the fire extinguisher and I will ask my neighbour if I can
borrow his video camera tomorrow. More to record the sound than the images
though. I have a nice bottle of Barolo waiting too :-)
I'll report back in a couple of days.
