Anybody have opinions on putting a solo seat on a civilian model Eldo?
Pros/Cons as far as getting one to match up with the tank. I have seen
Harley style seats that just did not quite fit, and I don't necessarily
want a exposed spring seat. Source for a good quality seat?

Here are my opinions as an Eldo owner who has a stock seat and a solo
seat. I bought a new, replica Stucchi solo seat from MG Cycle a year ago
for something like $229.00. I weigh 190 lbs, and if I weighed much more, I
would wonder whether it would be stiffly sprung enough to keep me from
bouncing around. That said, it is perhaps the most comfortable seat I have
ever ridden. I think that the fact that it is sprung, and not hard bolted
to the frame keeps the seat foam from flattening out after hours of riding
and making your butt sore. It fits up just fine to the Eldo tank.

If you occasionally want to ride a passenger, as I do when occasionally my
wife doesn't want to ride one of her bikes and we want to ride two-up, you
have to unbolt the solo seat and re-bolt up the stocker. The solo seat is
taller than the stock seat, and where I as a 5'9" guy am fairly flatfooted
with the stock seat, I am on tip toes with the Stucchi solo seat.

That is about all I can think of in response to your questions.
