I thought I would post this to the list, since there are a lot of Beemer
owners that also own Guzzis. A friend of mine has a 1974 BMW R90 in extremely
excellent condition. I bought the bike for 400$ from the original owner last
summer. The bike was partially dismanteled at 5000 miles because he broke the
ignition key off and parked it in the shed since then. I put about 1000$
worth of new parts into it, cleaned it up, and it looks and runs like a new
bike. I then sold it to a co-worker, for 3000$. He probably put a couple
hundred miles on it and wants to sell it already. All he wants is what he
paid for it. The bike is all original except for new Dunlop tires and a new
