Hi Tim,

I just had the parts for my 1970 Ambo painted by a local guy here in
Montreal. People send their stuff to him from all over North America. All he
worked from were the pictures in Greg Field's book Moto Guzzi Big Twins. He
did an AWESOME job. This is the second job he has done for me and I have
been nothing but impressed with his work.

OK, so why am I telling you all this? Not only to gloat but also to suggest
that there are lots of people out there like my guy. Hunt around and
hopefully you will find someone like him.

By the way...if you are interested in shipping your stuff to be
painted...let me know, I'll see if he is available. He does good work but I
warn you...he aint the fastest shooter in town :-)

I look forward to getting the new pictures of my bike up on the Loopframe
website soon.

Ian

Contemplating the restoration of my 1973 Eldo. Two questions.....is there
anyplace I would be able to send my paintable parts to have a CORRECT paint
job done, and secondly is it possible to get the black/white handgrips
anywhere?

Thanks,
Tim
