I look after an Eldo for a friend that I found had Sleeved liners of unknown
origin (Le Mans??) complete with Le Mans pistons, original Eldo heads &
compression plates under the barrels to stop the piston crowns trashing the
heads. It runs really well, very sweet!

I like Nigusil though. Easy & right, not cheap though. I can't even get
oversize Le Mans pistons any more, so I even had to use Nigusil on my LM.

Howdy,

Is nikusil that much better than Iron linings? My Ambo needs new
cylinders and pistons, and I need to decide how much money to spend.

Does anyone out there a good set of pistons/cylinders for sale?
