Hi Doni,

I have purchased two solo seats now. The first was one from Harpers. The
second was from Moto Guzzi Classics. Both are good seats and run $250.
Unfortuneately I can't give you a long term test report on them because I
haven't had them long. So far the Harper one (which I have used the most)
seems to be holding up ok.

MGClassics' seat (I hear) is of better quality but there is no Moto Guzzi
screened on the back. MG Cycles seat has the springs (which I didn't want
because of the look of the springs) but I am sure it is a good seat too. A
little cheaper as well.

You mentioned that you didn't care for the stiching across the seat. I
remember seeing one that was without all the stiching. I can't remember
where I saw it though. Check with Moe at Cycle Garden. Also give Mark
(MGClassics) or Rick (MGCycle) a call. They might be able to help you out.

Regards...Ian

Subject: solo seat for 70 ambo

I am interested in getting a solo seat for my 70 ambo. Does anyone have
any recommendations? I saw one on the MG Cycle site - a repro sprung
seat. Can this be mounted on a civilian ambo? I also saw that harper's
has seats listed on their websites. Unfortunately, I don't care for the
style with the many rows of stitching that run across the seat, as
pictured on their site. Thanks!
