I tried a Harper's seat on my Eldo and it was comfortable but keep in
mind that it absorbs water through the stitching. If the seat gets wet
and you sit on it, it oozes water all over your ass.
I went for the waterproof MG Cycle seat sans the springs and front
mount. Machined up some spacer/couplers where the springs went so the
seat could be mounted lower.
Seat is firmer than Harpers but I have done a 1000 mile burn plus
several 700+ mile burns with no sore ass.

 Hi Doni,

I have purchased two solo seats now. The first was one from Harpers. The
second was from Moto Guzzi Classics. Both are good seats and run $250.
Unfortuneately I can't give you a long term test report on them because
I
haven't had them long. So far the Harper one (which I have used the
most)
seems to be holding up ok.

MGClassics' seat (I hear) is of better quality but there is no Moto
Guzzi
screened on the back. MG Cycles seat has the springs (which I didn't
want
because of the look of the springs) but I am sure it is a good seat too.
A
little cheaper as well.
