First, make sure your points are ok, clean them and set them, make sure you
have 12V at the coil, points, coil, condenser and ignition switch (if no
12V at the coil) or, throw it in the truck and bring if up here, we'll get
it going!

 Hi,

Since I'm going to be out of town for the week before the National I figured
I'd fire the trusty Eldo up and take it for a quick spin. Starts fine, I
run
it for about 1 minute with the choke on, then take it out. I make it about
1/4 mile just fine and then the engine just dies. Still have lights, and
the
starter turns the engine over just fine. No spark whatsoever when I get
back
 and check it.

All ideas appreciated. I'm not very good with electrical stuff.

thanks in advance,

Steve
