Several different windshield options are available. For the most part, it
depends on what you have for a dash. If you have the police type dash with
the slots cut in it already, you can use the mounts that use the top fork
plug, and then bolt on the National Cycle screen, available in 3 different
styles, multiple color options. You can also use this type bracket if you
don't mind cutting appropriate slots in the civilian dual instrument dash.
Many of these have been cut (generally butchered is a better word) at some
point in their life already.

If you don't want to cut the dash, you can use the mounts that Don talks
about that clamp around the upper shroud, just below the upper triple tree.
These mounts and the screen available for it was supplied by Guzzi for the
850GT California in Europe. The screen is one piece clear polycarbonate.
This setup is reproduced by Stucchi. You can mount the National Cycle piece
to these clamp on brackets, but spacers should be used, based on what I was
told by the old tech guys at National Cycle. They don't recommend stressing
the "hambone" frame alot.

My shop has the complete clamp on setup, and we have repoped the original
Police brackets to use with the National Cycle piece. If you wish more
information, please reply off list, or email in-@mgcycle.com

CHEESEHEAD

ps. Don, glad you enjoyed the cheese. We brought 7 or 8 different varieties
with us, and all were joyously consumed!
