Definitely replace the condenser. My Eldo did exactly the same thing with a
relatively new condenser so I put the old one back in, problem solved. I did
not change any other variables at the same time, so I am relatively certain
of the solution.
When troubleshooting a baffling problem, I like to try one solution at a
time so that I can positively ID the bugger and then look for the root
cause. In my case, I think it was just premature condenser failure.
