you need a battery charger, a plastic bucket big enough to hold the part,a piece of copper pipe and some muratic acid (pool supply). connect the + lead of the charger to the copper, connect the - lead to the part to be de-chromed. put them both into the bucket - do not let them touch. cover with water and turn on the charger, slowly pour in the acid while stiring until you see 3 to 5 amps on the charger. you may have to clean off the copper pipe as the chrome accumulates. careful not to leave it in to long or the acid will eat the base metal. good luck.
