Hey,
With my '74 eldo, I use Mobil one down the line: engine, transmission, rear
drive. Uh, don't use engine oil in the transmission, though. So far no
leaks, no problems (after maybe 5K miles). BTW, Tom Emerson, or some other
soul in the know, what's prolong? Sounds like something you'd buy at the
pharmacy :) I assume its a slippery Molybdenum additive of some sort.
Hmmm, so does that...
I can't really say that the Mobil is any better than Castrol, which I run
in my Tonti frame. Both bikes seem to run and shift just fine. I thought
for awhile that the Mobil made my (850) engine louder, but I suspect I
really just set my valves a little loose.
