1973 Eldo...having some work done, and it has been a chore to say the =
least. Newest problem....chrome is not peeling, but has a "eyebrow" =
pattern. Had a broken compression ring on one side, but can get a used =
ring out of an ambassador and use as is, or can sleeve the cylinders, or =
can buy the Nikasil cylinders. Three options, varying prices, but what =
is the general opinion. I don't plan on selling this bike as I love it =
too much, Nikasil is the most expensive option, but is it the best? I =
was told that if I just bought a new ring, that the sharp edge might be =
too hard on the worn chrome and cause further problems. Thoughts? I =
have heard that if I put it togerher with just the used ring, I may be =
O.K. Not sure if I want to go with O.K.
