Tim,

In my opinion.....if you have the bucks go with the Nikasil matched set =
of cylinders, pistons, rings, wrist pin etc...=20

You pay a little more but in the end you get a top end that will never =
give you problems down the road (unless you run the bike without oil =
:-)).=20

Of course, if money is an issue then you do whatever you have to to get =
riding :-)

My thoughts...Ian

1973 Eldo...having some work done, and it has been a chore to say =
the least. Newest problem....chrome is not peeling, but has a "eyebrow" =

ring out of an ambassador and use as is, or can sleeve the cylinders, or =
can buy the Nikasil cylinders. Three options, varying prices, but what =
is the general opinion. I don't plan on selling this bike as I love it =
too much, Nikasil is the most expensive option, but is it the best? I =
was told that if I just bought a new ring, that the sharp edge might be =

have heard that if I put it togerher with just the used ring, I may be =
O.K. Not sure if I want to go with O.K.
