Standing the bike next to an Eldorado, the bike looked about 2" lower. If
it matters in height, the rims are extra wide and I have the fat Harley
Dunlop White Walls on them.
And I must say, I find it rather hard to believe that you have been mistaken
in the past ;-)

PS: Maybe it's just me, but the lower, fatter white walls and LAPD single
seat with the springs makes it look like an almost totally different bike
than stock!

Andy,
I was under the impression that the 16" tires were about the same size
OD as the 18" tires account of the 16" being fatter, am I mistaken,
won't be the first time. (:<>
How much lower does your bike sit than a stock bike???
