Here's a url for a ratty "before" shot of my new old Ambo I picked up
last week from Texas. The gator I saw was in Louisiana on the way back.

It's missing quite a bit of motor parts but luckily Andy Hill is sending
me some used pistons/rings that were missing and Moto Guzzi Classics is
sending me all the missing valve train components plus an oilpan. I had
a very nice ride up to M G Cycle last night for all the gaskets to put
the motor parts on. I still need a used generator belt cover if anyone
has a beat up one.
I'll worry about the cosmetics later.
