I have thought about it, but have come to the conclusion that it isn't
worth it, I have Never had a bike or vehicle of any kind, on which the
distibutor was easier to get to and work on, checking, setting and
replacing the points is a piece of cake, they are cheap, I always carry a
spare set of points, condenser and a set of plugs, takes 10 minutes to
replace them. That is my humble opinion, which doesn't mean I won't try it
or think about it. I do know of many a headache that has come from doing it
on Brit bikes.

 Hi All,

I would be interested in that info as well.

Master Dave...you ever thought about doing this?

Im no master mechanic, but was wondering if anyone has upgraded their eldos
to electonic ignition. Is that a plus, or is it not worth messing with?
Also, what would be a good source for the stuff to do it, in case I decide
to?
