Subject: putting in turn signals

I'm not trying to beat this into the ground here, but seeing as I =
can't really afford to pay someone to install them...I have a 1970 civi =
ambo. I have acquired a pair of rear turn signals, front signals, =
switch and the flasher, everything I need (except of course the wire). =20

1) my rear signals (I don't know if the fromt signals do, they are =
coming in the mail this week from Cyclegarden) have these plug dealies =
on the wires as seen in this photo =
http://home.austin.rr.com/doniel/images/ptl2.jpg
Do I need some special plugs for the wiring I buy or should I cut =
these plugs off?

Probably need to cut them off. I doubt there will be any wiring to =
plug them into anyway.

2) The switch I got has an 11 pin in a 12 pin male socket =
http://home.austin.rr.com/doniel/images/pswya.jpg. Will I find a =
connection for this plug when i start removing the old switch or will it =
require some modifications? If so, what?

Looks like an old Yamaha switch. This will not plug in anywhere on a =
Guzzi.

3)Is there anyone who can sketch me out a simple wiring diagram that =
includes only the components I will be using in this connection? I have =
wiring diagrams from ambo civi and police, but the police diagram is =
confusing me. I need something on its own that I can plug into my civi =
wiring configuration.

I can & will if I get time & you still want it!

Sorry to keep asking so many questions on this matter. I have no =
experience messing with electrics and don't want to start only to find =
out it is over my head.
Thanks!
DS

Sorry to be so negative but my advice would be: If you don't =
understand wiring diagrams, save yourself a lot of trouble & avoid =
possible catastrophe, get someone who does to fit turn signals.=20
