Subject: Starter circuit

I was helping fellow loopframer James-Scott Wong with a starting
problem but his wiring harness was a mess. We decided to start fresh
and got a new harness from Cycle Garden. Everything seems
understandable except the starter circuit. James likes to start from
the key but I get lost as I follow the circuit from starter to relay to
fusebox. Can anyone shed light? I need to know specifically how the
wire from the relay (brown) gets power.
