Hi Ted,
I really can't say. Generally as long as the push rods aren't warped then
they should be ok but I am unsure as to the stresses on the rod. Maybe
Cheesehead at MG Cycle or Mark at Moto Guzzi Classics could offer their
thoughts. They've been cranking on these bikes for a long time now.

Hi Ian I had two different kinds of head gaskets installed . One that looked black and had no metal in it . The other had copper in it. Both worked well but the black no copper, rubbed the push rods. Do you think I should use them with 0.20 rubbed off? TIA TED |
