What I really wonder is whether we "Eastern Loopframers" will be
able to get
along with you "Western Loopers" when we cross the Mississippi on
our way to
the National next summer :-)
No problem there Ian, we are pretty tolerant of almost
anything and anybody out here on the left coast. You may find that a some of
us out here make a lifelong career out of being weird or eccentric or even
eclectic (only a few of the many reasons to own a Guzzi). And if a wonderful
Italian motorcycle can't unite us then we have more problems than just
'getting along' The area around Grass Valley has some wonderful roads to
explore and is beautiful country.
If you promise to be nice I might even bring my "Chaseplace Guzzi of
the
Year" to show off :-) Are you going to be there Rich? You live in
California
don't you. Where abouts. Who else is planning to go?
Yes I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. About two hours
from the rally site (four if you take the roads I would take ;-)). Now here
is the problem. I am working on some angles right now, but two years ago I
made a promise to my wife (SWBO) to go back to Rhode Island this summer for
a couple of weeks. July 20 is her birthday (the rally date). Her sister is
expecting her first child on July 14 and my wife expects to be there when
she delivers. Like I said I am working on some angles but in the long run I
have learned a long time ago that as they say 'It's cheaper to keep her'.
With that you have to pick and choose your battles. And I just got through
convincing her that a fourth bike wouldn't be too much in the garage. Did I
say I am working on some angles?
