I have a 67 V7 coming back together but the brake light switch was never
hooked up so I'm not sure how it fits. Manual doesn't cover it either.
looks like the spring was hooked to clutch cable, is that right? no
part # 40 on this picture

is what actuates the brake light switch
the switch bolts to a plate that is welded to the cross menmber on the
frame just forward of the swing arm
