We've had record snows and low temps this winter and none of it has
stopped me from riding the raT-3 or Eldo hack. In fact it's been a total
blast. The previous years I did my winter riding on my stripped down
SR500 set up with XS650 aluminum spokers and dirt tires but I thought
screw that, I'll just ride the Guzzis. Besides, all that salt will help
me clinch any rat bike contests!
I did have to give up three riding days last week when I took the van
down to Slidell, LA to pick up an 850T I bought during my thanksgiving
bike trip. It was hard not riding for the three days but at least the
gumbo at Vera's was great that I had with Danny R and the mutual friend
I bought the T from.
