Ian, If you have a tool to unthread the spring holder its a simple job. I switched seals in a jiffy with the homemade tool I fashioned from a pipe just big enough to slip over the fork tube but inside the collar. I cut 4 notches of just the right size to fit in the key holes- used a grinder & drumell tool-worked cool and I felt INGENIOUS!

Guys, I'm Brad Kopp on the list since this summer when I picked up a 67 V7 at a garage sale. Unfortunately I'm having to part it out rather than restore (financial responibilities). Look for it on ebay in parts! Any of you need a part contact fotog-@yahoo.com . My main ride is a 95 Cali 1100i, 42k- went around Lake Superior last summer (1400miles), fabulous ride!

It's my 47th birthday today. I'm a photogrpher at WCCO TV in Minneapolis a CBS O&O. I have 3 kids and an X, thats where my money went. May sell the Cal too I know where theres a nice 74 Eldo I'm smitten with.

Hope to see you all at the Minnesota MG rally mid August or maybe I'll make it to your state or the National. would love to visit California again but it's hard to get vacation time in July.

My first Guzzi story ran about 2 years ago then I wrote up my second guzzi I think last summer.

I like getting to know you guys, isn't the web GREAT! see ya on the road, Brad Kopp

PS someday I'll tell ya about changing my first name to Traffic!
