I am sure I have met him before at the rally. The name sounds familiar. I
went to last years rally but the engine in the eldo was torn down, so I
drove my BSA Cafe Racer. ( Oh the shame !) After a 1.5 hour ride down A1A
my back was cursing me ( damn clip-ons). The 2001 Florida Guzzi Rally will
be in Brooksville Florida which is about 1 hour north of Tampa. It is a
great area with allot of hills which is strange for Florida. Riding
through there, you would swear you were in the foot hills of North
Carolina, except for the palm trees. The date is still up in the air, but
It will be one of the first weekends in October. Hope to see a good turn
out.

Karl, do you know a guy named Jerry Deustcher from Sanabell Island? He's my
father in law, rides an Eldo LADP, he goes to the Florida rallies.

I have been on the site for a few months now. I found out about the site
from a guy I met at the Guzzi National Meet in Buena Vista last year. I
have a 74 LAPD with the original police lights and metal ammo boxes. My
wife has a nice 71 Ambo that she rides on a regular basis. I have always
had bikes growing up and went through the plastic crotch rocket phase (85
750 Honda Interrupter) when I was in high school during the 80's. My fist
real bike was a BSA Cafe Racer which I still own along with a 62 Triumph
pre-unit and a 69 BSA Firebird. They are all nice bikes but they fall
short compared to our Guzzis. My wife & I regularly attend the Florida
Guzzi Rally, Antique Motorcycle Club of America Rally, and the Blue Ridge
British Rally. Last year my wife started a business selling vintage
motorcycle artwork which she draws. She currently has one Guzzi print on
her website and is looking to do some Loopframe drawings in the future.
Her website also has a vintage bike photo gallery with a lot of cool
pics,
so check it out. Anyway this is a great site with a lot of helpful info
and is a vital resource for guzzi riders.
