I've been lurking on this list for a while. I participate on a couple of
other lists, Euro-moto, Bevelheads, Laverda. I picked up a '70 Ambo
rolling basket case last summer. I tore the engine down to find that it
needed cylinders (flakey chrome) and I have been considering my options
since. Looks like the list has helped me out here. Brad Kopp has an
engine that should work out good for me.
I also own a '75 850T. I've ridden this beast for a few years now after
saving from being parted. I also own a bunch of other bikes, mostly
Italian. "74 Ducati 750GT, '74 Laverda 750SF, some Aermacchi projects and
some British projects. The Guzzis are some of my favorites. I love the
performance of the "T", but the loopframe is just beautiful. Thanks to
