Welcome Todd,

Ask all the questions you want. We are a patient bunch and like helping
others. You have to remember that we all started like you....we all had to
learn about the Loopframes. So please, do not hesitate to ask any question
at all.

Interesting that your story about seeing a Guzzi and wanting one is very
similar to many of the riders of Guzzis today...including myself. I only
learned of the bikes 5 years ago after seeing an Eldorado in a shop. I had
never heard of the bikes before but had to have one. I now have two Ambos
and a 1976 Convert...and I'm still looking!

Thanks for the welcome and kind words. I am sure I
will have a ton of questions.
I have some books coming thru MGNOC, recommended
by a good cyber buddy and Guzzi enthusiast Frank Susca
from New York (thanks Frank)....so hopefully I will
get a good foundation going as I learn.

Do you have a bike? Which model? If you have one I would like to get the
serial number for it and a location. I am recording all the Loopframes out
there and would like to add you to my list. It isn't a commercial
thing...just my own curiosity.

I don't have a Moto Guzzi. I ride a Big Dog Vintage
Bagger (S+S powered aftermarket HD clone),
wife has a Buell Blast and I have a 1969 Honda CL 90..
barely running.

Are you familiar with the Moto Guzzi National Owner's Club? They have a
great newsletter that lists the rallies around North America and some nice
stories and features. Also lists the various dealer, shops too. Worth every
dollar.

Yes, I have been going to their site and plan to join as
soon as I qualify as an owner.

Feel free to ask any question you may have. These bikes are indeed easy to
work on...once you have learned the little tricks of the trade.

Regards....Ian Adkins

Thanks Ian. I look forward to the journey....

Todd
