actually pretty happy with the way mine runs and would like to keep them.
yea I would be interested too. When I was putting my 74 Eldo back together,
I got an Amal rebuild kit from a friend who runs an brit bike shop, and requested new slides. He indicated that he had never had any luck with new slides in old carbs and so I retained the worn slides, the bike still runs good so just left them in.
