Since you are waxing eloquent tonight, I have to add that even though mine
is resting on a block under the engine, front wheel off, tank and seat and
rear fender off, headlight off and wires spilling out; Every time I drive
into the garage and see the old iron, I have to smile.
Either its mystical powers, or we are all a little cracked.
Who cares? Its fun!!

Keep looking for that nice old Eldo. There are still some good deals out there...not many though. Amazing how people are attracted to the Loopframes. I have yet to meet a person that was happy with selling their Loopframe. Even a friend who recently bought a brand new California Special will not part with his Eldo. After I restored my 70 Ambo I figured I would sell it. I don't know if I can do that now. It sits along side my 69 Ambo. Both have their own personality and a place in my heart.
