Hello Fellow Loopers,
On a related note, how about reusing the rod bolts? I'm inclined to
replace them instead of having my newly rebuilt Ambassador go BOOM! I
understand that they're about $35 ea., but I'd rather do it right the
first time instead of doing it over. Your thoughts on this as well?

Howdy All

Can I reuse the original connecting rod nuts and lock tabs when I put
the rods on the crank? What about the lock plates that abound on the
engine? Yes? no? I heard each nut cost about $12 ea.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Miguel
