Hi, everyone. I got a great tip that can save you a few bucks. For those
of you whose headlight rims has seen better days, I have found a cheep
alternative to paying 60 - 75 bucks for a replacement. Go down to your
local URAL dealer and order a headlight rim from one of their side car
machines. They cost 25 bucks and will fit right on the stock Guzzi head
light bucket. I put one on my wife's Ambassador and it looks great. You

I did not find it hard to dismantle my V7 forks. as for the special tool, I
made one from the correct size pipe and a grinding wheel. the trick was to
pry open the lower triple clamp so the fork tube could slide through
easily.
