Hi Tim,
I agree garden tractor batteries are the way to go. However, I used one from
Exide and had acid vent from the caps on top. Nothing worse than acid eating
your paint and chrome! Two choices here: use one with a vent tube or use a
sealed, maintenance-free one. The vent tube units are available from many lawn
mower repair shops (particularly one that handles "Rotary" brand parts). The
sealed units are readily available as stated previously at Wal-Marts
nationwide up to 350 CCA. You may have to change cables as some batteries will
have the terminals reversed from your present locations. My $.02 worth.

Any references for replacement batteries that will save me some money? My
Eldo needs a battery, and I would like to avoid paying over $115.00 at the
dealer if possible. Is it possible?
