My Ambo had a big side terminal battery intended for a GM product installed
when I got it. Don't know how old it was then, but it lasted a couple of
years.
Since they were cheap and readily available, I replaced it with a similar
store-brand battery from the local auto parts place when it expired. Just
barely fits between the side covers, but doesn't seem to cause any problems
and cranks the bike over REAL good.
