I am looking for the parts required to add a second disk to my '74 Eldo
(the disk carrier and the rotor).

Well, it's kind of a long story but here is the short version: I bought
a disk spacer from Moto International to do what you want to do. All
you need is a custom spacer that fits on the left side of the wheel
under the brake rotor. I went nuts trying to get it to fit but it
wouldn't fit. Moto Int. put me in touch with the guy who made it, Bob
Nolan, and he revealed that he made it to fit using a "t" disk carrier
on an Eldo wheel. There is approximately a 3/16" difference between the
two.

Mine didn't fit and I am going to send it back. The only good that came
out of this transaction was my conversation with Mr. Nolan. He is a
legendary figure in Guzzidom and has a wealth of knowledge about Guzzis
in general and loopframes in particular. A terrific person to get to
know.

If Mark has a "T" left side bearing carrier for you my spacer will work.
Want to try it?

David>when I added a 2nd disc to my LAPD Eldo I also had that
problem. The guy who sold me the whole setup said it would work with NO
problems.When I put it all together,it's off about 3/16ths of an inch.I
inspect and reinspect, but its off.Only after speaking to Mr Nolan do I
get the correct poop.He advises me to purchase from him the correct size
spacer.I do and its the end of the problem. His cost is $60 which is
priceless in my book.............KO
