I am in the process of using the KREEM 3 part kit on my Eldo tank.
After washing out the tank, complete with small chain in side to loosen
rust, I put the first part of the kit in my tank to disolve the rust.
Here is my question.....
The original mixture is 2.5 gallons. I think I will need to do another
PART A treatment to completely remove the surface rust. If so, does
anyone know how I might be able to mix up something to use instead of
purchasing (and waiting for the mail) another bottle of the "etcher".
Is this muratic acid, if so, could I just use the muratic acid with
water, or is there something else in the Kreem kit?
Also, I put the first part in according to directions, and did not
really notice any type of reaction. I have heard that I would be able
to feel the tank get warm, but I have not. Any opinions here?
Again, I have strictly followed directions.
