Patrick,
I hear you but the only place an o-ring can go is where there is a chamfer
to accept it. So, per my engine, a 750cc motor with a 700cc head, it has
chamferings on the top of the head and on the top of the rocker assembly.
It would seem they go there. Per your suggestion, the top and bottom
cylinder studs do not have these chamferings. The Premier manual is no help
