I've had this happen with my Norton and have clamped it back on with some
needle nose vice grips. Worked pretty darn good. I did put a cable tie
thru the vice grips in case they vibrated off.

Warmed up the guzzi and torqued the exhaust nuts on using permatex 2, not
the hi temp kind. I expect it will be on there forever. Used a pipe
wrench.

Yes, my nuts are ugly!! ;)
