Ok.....I am looking for new tires for my bike. I put Metzeler (sp?) ME

on my 70 Ambo and I like them alot. What I did...which was posted
previoulsy
was to put the tire on the front and reverse the direction of rotation. Seems to have worked so far after 400 miles.
Well...I need a new set for my 69 Ambo now and the shop that gives me the best prices say that they can't get Metzelers that I want. I wanted to
see
if there was any recommendations as to which brand to get. Some people mentioned the Dunlop K177's. When I asked about that tire I was told that
it
is only a front tire. Is it ok to put a front tire on the back? If I did
do
that which way would I have the direction of rotation going? What is the comparable tire that is designed for the back? In some ways I would like
to
keep the same tires on the front and back and I would like to hear what other brands you Loopers are running on.
Any thoughts would be appreciated although I think that I will have to
take
a trip to the shop and look through the book to decide which I will want.
