As a frequent detractor of CS/Maxxis tires..I feel it necessary to point out. A new set of CS/MAxxis tires is better than 10 year old Dunlop/Avon/etc etc. Whih may well be what you get mail order.
So if you have to choose between running the old, hard donuts or buying the Chicken Skins, buy the tires.
Even on the EXTREME-EST of budgets one can squeak out a new set of good tires once a year.
OK Tim I'll come out of the closet too. I also got the chicken skins from Whitney. So far only 20 miles on them, so I cant really report any history. Glad to hear your report. I read somewhere else a while ago the Chen Shins were a good tire. Thats why I tried them. Pete 71 Ambo
