If only could be so luck, I get the noise when sitting at red lights and no
noise while riding.

Thanks,
Rick

Hi,
Well now that I am on the road with my V700, after the bike warms up say
after about 4 miles when I pull in the clutch lever I can feel a metal
clunking sensation and here what sounds like metal flopping around in the
transmission. I know I will need to pull the tranny but if any body has
had
this problem before maybe give me some ideas on the problem and the cost
to
have it repaired. I guess I should add when the bike is cold it doesn't
make the noise, listening with a screwdriver all sounds normal.

Thanks,
Rick
