Patrick,
What is a "spark secondary wire set"? Is this the same and the spark plug
wires? I did recently change coil and spark plug wires and checked them all
out on an ohm-meter and they checked out to specs., something like .5 ohms.
Also tried another distributor cap and same problem. I will look again at

If this is happening with two carbs, then maybe you are losing spark
quality.
 When was the last time you changed/re-built the spark secondary wire set?
Distributor cap? Coils usually last forever, but that could be a source.
