No necessarily a GUzzicentric eccentricity. That some bikes are cold blooded
and others are warm blooded.

Its an old mechanical beastie sorta thing.

They got soul, dammit.

My Eldo fires up on the 2nd turn of the motor every time. But, I must use
the choke if she's even an hour cold. Very cold natured bike...dies at idle
several times until she's warmed up fully. When its 90 degrees outside,
she
doesn't need the choke, but still must run a bit before she really runs
good. I have just accepted this as a Guzzidiosyncrasy that must be endured
;)

My T-3 works the same way. One twist and then fire it up. Even on the 30
degree mornings.

Just give it a couple of twists of the grip and it should start without
the
chokes. I never need them. (of course I'm not in the cold country)
